Adams Newburgh Classic Car ShowAugust 2008 Part 1

Adam's Fairacre Farms, in Newburgh, NY, hosts a monthly car show during the summer. I hit this show late in the season (August) but it did not disappoint. There were a ton of amazing cars there. I can't wait for next season's shows! Here are a few of my favorites:

The Richard C. Paine, Jr. Collection

On a recent vacation to Bar Harbor, Maine, we stopped by the Seal Cove Auto Museum in Seal Cove, Maine. The museum houses one of the best antique brass car collections in the world. The collection includes over 100 rare and beautiful automobiles. The founder of the museum, Richard C. Paine, Jr., passed away in 2007 and his collection will go to auction this month. I feel fortunate to have been able to catch a glimpse of this amazing collection before it is dismantled. Here are some of the highlights:

Here's a shot of a classic, parked on the street in Kent, CT. The make and model escape me at the moment but, wow, what a beautifully maintained vintage ride.

I am a huge fan of classic, rare, luxury, and exotic cars and trucks...so I'm starting this blog to document the many fine rides I encounter. Living in the Hudson Valley region of New York affords me the opportunity to see lots of great rides since there are many collectors and purveyors of 'fine rides' in the area.
